The initiative is a contribution to the construction of LINGUISTIC interface between Europe and Asia.
The project aims at:
(1) immediate goals: constructing
electronic devices for conversation (dictionaries with speech synthesis
etc.) and indirect contacts (by writing : e-mails, small messages,
letters etc.) as well as publishing handbooks for the prospective users from Europe and Asia.
(2) long-distance goals : standardisation of semantic concepts
(based on inductively derived common ontologies) for building electronic multi-lingual
dictionaries
Language Sets: - Slavic, Roman and Germanic <==> Japanese, Korean and Chinese
